4 dreams: Me against the world: I'm in some sorta office building/compound on top of a hill, an army is coming for me. I am setting up a ton of guns on tripods on a hill. I spot a dog hunting me through the scope. People charge, many come round the side of this smaller building on the compound, army men and police. I am ready for them and mow them all down, but the last guy round the side takes many shots to go down and manages to shoot me. Further back in the compound there's a room with tall glass windows, full of a brown poisonous gas I've prepared. I release the gas and run. I come to a dead end, another window. I smash it repeatedly with a small bin but it has no impact. I turn around to see someone who's inhaled the gas. Veins on his face bulge, his head grows slightly in size and turns an unnatural shade of brown. He dies, then I die. Drambuie: On holiday in a house similar to the one we used to holiday in in Ireland, but instead with people from school (sri, daniel, kai, etc). I was talking to some girl there who said she was gonna have a drink upstairs before bed, and offered me one. Things kept getting in the way of going upstairs to have the drink, until eventually this girl turns into soham, and begins to argue with me about whether to use shot glasses or short glasses. I wake up. Inca shop: I see a traditional looking inca shop down the street at night, lit with fiery torchlight. I'm told I have to shop there now. This is because of power cuts, and at the other local supermarket, the fridges have been off for a while, and the food is going off and leaking. The inca shop doesn't stock food that needs refrigeration, which is why it's a suitable alternative. Also at the other supermarket I see a man change a baby who has a black lycra nappy, and when he takes it off and realises the baby's only taken a piss, he puts it back on. Fletcher of state: The queen (princess at this point, and claire foy) is beat by her father for wanting to be "fletcher of state" and forgo becoming queen. They seem concerned about her.
Here are detailed interpretations of each of your dreams:
1. Me Against the World
This dream portrays a vivid and intense scenario where you are alone, battling against an army. The office building or compound setting might symbolize your mind or personal space, a place where you feel a sense of control or authority. The army coming for you can represent external pressures, expectations, or conflicts you are currently facing in your life. The use of guns and the defensive tactics you employ might suggest a feeling of being on the defensive in waking life, needing to protect yourself from perceived threats or criticisms.
The poisonous gas could symbolize a situation or emotion that is toxic or harmful, which you've tried to control or manage but ultimately leads to your own downfall. The struggle to escape and the appearance of someone affected by this harmful gas highlights that unresolved issues may hurt both you and those around you.
The dream may point to feelings of isolation, conflict, or struggling against overwhelming circumstances. It might suggest a need to find healthier ways to cope with conflict and stress or open up to others for support.
2. Drambuie
This dream centers on a social setting with themes of relaxation, reminiscence, and confusion. The holiday home relates to nostalgia and comfort, indicating the desire to return to simpler, carefree times. The change from being offered a drink to an argument about shot glasses versus short glasses and the transformation of a character from a girl into Soham suggests a confrontation of differing views or internal conflict about how to approach leisurely or indulgent activities.
The obstacles you face in simply having a drink point towards procrastination or being sidetracked by trivial concerns or overthinking mundane choices in your life. It may reflect a quest for balance between indulgence and discipline.
3. Inca Shop
This dream presents a stark contrast between the traditional and the modern. The Inca shop lit by torchlight represents a return to simpler, more traditional ways of living. Its presence suggests adaptability and the ability to find new solutions in times of crisis, as presented by the power cuts and failing refrigerators at the local supermarket.
The leaking and spoiled food symbolizes the deterioration of something once reliable, perhaps in your personal or professional life. The man's nonchalant attitude towards the baby's condition may further hint at avoiding addressing pressing issues adequately. Overall, this dream may suggest evaluating what in your life needs innovation versus tradition, and how to adequately adapt to life's challenges.
4. Fletcher of State
Here, historical and royal themes paint a picture of familial expectations and personal desires conflicted. The princess, indicative of personal potential and ambition, wishes to pursue a non-traditional role (Fletcher of State) rather than conforming to expectations of becoming a queen.
The dream speaks to themes of duty and personal happiness, reflecting inner conflicts between following a path expected by family or society versus pursuing what truly makes you content. The beating by her father and the concern shown may suggest internalized worries about disappointing those you care about by choosing a divergent path.
In all, these dreams collectively emphasize a journey of navigating pressures, expectations, balance, and adaptation, all while trying to maintain personal integrity and satisfaction. They may encourage introspection about what drives you and how you can align your actions with those deeper desires.
